Ulixes is a not for profit organization which works in the field of environmental education: Ulixes organizes education campaigns and awareness for students and their parents, meetings, workshops, oversaw studies, research and instructional books on the subject.
Ulixes aims are:
•Think globally and act locally;
•To know our country to love and to protect it;
•To ‘train’ new generations about sustainable developement;
•To embrace better lifestyles;
•To sustain young ideas and to promote young entrepreneurs;
•To cooperate with istitutions according to a bottom up approach;
•To strenghten the net between local entities.

Our activities in these 3 fields are:
1a Enviromental education, Sensibilization campaigns, Workshops and meetings, magazines editing, studies and researches, didactic books
2a Info point management, Studies and market researching, publications, events organization, tourist guides,
3a Laboratorio urbano management - Training courses for adults, Stages, cultural events.

Some of our projects in the field of environment education are:
- It held meetings "Eco-oikos-Casa" to sensitize the general public and school students having to fear the power, energy, mobility, pollution, waste and water
- It organized a training course aimed at adult learners for tourist guides in the 'Project Sitrus' (Innovative System for Rural Tourism and Sustainable. New Technologies), 'Measure 4.2 - Support to Albanian-Italian partnership in tourism', according to the Action 1 'Integrated Projects in the fields of rural tourism, art, culture, language'
- It organized "Festival del Riciclo", a traveling festival that combines dissemination and awareness on environmental issues. The Festival includes: an exhibition game-lessons on waste treatment, an art competition on the theme of reuse, a theater workshop, a series of meetings with institutional professionels and academics on issues of treatment waste, a phase of aggregation and sharing of best practices among associations promoters of actions aimed at sustainable development.


Association “Social Center Burgas “ is registered on 16.12.2011. The founders of the Association “Social Center Burgas" are seven persons, two of them with disabilities, two mothers of children with special needs and 3 professionals educators and social workers .
The Association is non- profit NGO working in public purpose. Mission of the organizations is to promotes and supports the sustainable socio-economic and cultural development and to work for social inclusion of peoples with special needs, to educate them and to support them in all activities and social life. The Association is working with adult   and elderly people.
The main managing bodies of the Association “Social Center Burgas ” are Assembly, Management Board, Control Board. The Chairwoman of the Management Board represents the organization.
The main activity of Association had started with innovative social  services  in the society and community “  The creative workshop“ for people with special needs which not visited Daily  Centers, not educated and studied and they are living in risk of isolation.
Many visitors participate in our Creative Workshop and we teach them in field of sustainable development, Environment protection and waste management, recycling , reusing of goods European integration, IT education and other.
The Association is organize many different events – workshops, exhibition, excursions,  visits of concerts, theatre. We also  organize photo exhibition with our photos, exhibition of objects made from recycled newspapers.
The visitors of the Creative workshop make different souvenirs. The main material for them are old newspapers. People with special needs already did such kind of subjects as baskets, napkin holders, etc. Later on they made bigger things- ships, architectural and historical monuments such as The Aiffel Tower. The organization has  international partners from Belgium, Turkey,
To achieve the aims, the Association can use its own experts and mobilize local, regional, national and international experts. There are very good contacts with the Local  and Regional Authorities, the Ministry of Environment and Waters, Ministry of Labor and  social Policy of Republic of Bulgaria, Regional Inspectorate for Education, NGOs.In the project roles of Association “Social Center Burgas”  will be to manage Research and PPT presentation and host a meeting, to organize local exhibition, crate video for training recycling and reusing, evaluate and  present project activities.


The Environmental Academy (EA) is a centre of excellence for environmental training, particularly vocational accredited courses and e-learning.  The EA delivers high value training at all levels using a range of techniques including an innovative on-line learning environment which is engaging and technically advanced in the market. Learning programmes developed by the Academy cover environmental education, waste minimisation/recycling, environmental awareness/management, sustainability, resource efficiency, environmental legislation, energy efficiency, and corporate social responsibility. The Academy also offers consultancy assistance to companies developing Environmental Management Systems to standards to control their environmental impacts. EA’s unique approach in the UK with environmental specialists and e-learning developers in house has been devised to face the challenge of supporting businesses and individuals through a period of change. The training delivered by the Academy has real business benefit.
EA have delivered many UK Government projects on behalf of the Department of the Environment and rural Affairs, Manufacturing Advisory Service, and Environment Agency  and  worked with many business sectors including the manufacturing, engineering, construction, food and drink, financial and automotive industries.
Previous projects have included the Leonardo da Vinci LLP ERIE – Environmental Renaissance in Europe. This project resulted in the development of an online elearning programme to create environmental champions within food and drink companies in Slovenia, Germany, Spain and the UK.  The programme covered packaging, waste minimisation, environmental management, and legislation, water and energy usage.  The Academy are also now leading on a Comenius programme 'Green Hero' with partners from Spain, Romania, Germany, and Italy.  This will be developing e-learning modules covering the areas of waste, energy and water to improve the environmental knowledge and understanding of children in Europe.
As a partner in the TrEE Grundtvig project the Academy will undertake research in the UK and host a partner meeting and event.  EA bring substantial experience to the partnership in the areas of research, environmental education, case studies in recycling and waste minimisation, environmental seminar and event management to ensure the results of the programme are disseminated widely.  EA have a large network of environmental services and providers.


MONTE is a non-profit private entity, from Arraiolos, Alentejo Central, South of Portugal.
This organization it is responsible for the implementation of the LEADER Program at this territory, and has large experience at environment projects. MONTE also have a very good network with schools, enterprise, municipalities, other associations and other local institutions.
MONTE also have a large experience at build and developed rural projects and training projects, and in the last years, has also develop it activities at Africa, setting up aid programs.
Besides that, MONTE is actually recognized by National Authorities as a Non-Governmental Organization for Development (NGOD), and also has the legal status of Public Utility, because of it good work at local level.  It is also a training entity, recognized by National Education Authorities.
With an intervention focused on social, economic and environmental domain, the purpose of Monte is to promote a sustainable and integrated development in its intervention areas. In order to achieve this gold, is fundamental to have a participated local management strategy with agents and local populations in order to answer its needs, so that together they can walk the best pathway in search for rural development.
At environment level, MONTE has developed many projects, and has a great role in the implementation of some environment projects and organizations in Alentejo, working as a support and training organization for those.

In the last years, MONTE has developed tree projects in this area, namely:
-the “Inventory of fauna and flora”, beside the inventory, it has been develop an Map where has been identified some particular points for the observation, accompanied by footpaths, and in partnership with the Network of Living Museums of the Central Alentejo;
- the “Touristic and Environment Itineraries”, that complies several routes and other itineraries for weekends, small holidays and other time schedule, regarding heritage, routes and sights, gastronomy, Tourist Animation and special environment places;
-The “ Recycle oil project”, with the local municipalities, enterprises and schools, this project aims to prevent pollution by collecting oil at the village, because when launched in drainage networks wastewater, the oils pollutes lots of gallons of water.


Classes I-VIII High School”Nicolae Velea”Cepari  is a school, situated in a rural area,in the Cepari commune,Arges county,  as an institution providing education is training students of levels:pre-primary(27%,primary(33%) and secondary(44%) evening class being 245 students coordinated by more then 23 teachers.Cepari hill is a rural settlement,located 25 km away from Curtea de Arges,in an exceptionally beautiful natural environment and full of history.We estimate that our village is situated in an underprivileged area because of a big number of unemployed people-the main occupation in the area being that of farmer.Among various activities organized by our school (cultural, sports,adult education)are ecologic activity for the area, especially of the Topolog river,but also activities to raise the citizens’ awareness about the necessity of selective collection of household waste.We have many interests and projects related on folk traditions and customs,environmental protection,health education,EU projects,most of them volunteer project.We appreciate that our school has a duty in helping the parents and teachers in finding ways to reduce operational and environmental pollution,on each segment of dispersal (water,air,soil),to educate adults and children in living in harmony with the environment,to promote sustainable development. We are very interested in getting involved in this partnership because we are sure that civil society must engage seriously in delivering a substantial education on environmental protection issues to young people and adults all together.In this project we will involve members of the Committee for Environmental Protection,coordinator of educational projects,trainers,computer teachers,English teachers,teachers of geography,history teachers,guidance and counseling teachers,other tearchers motivated,parents and local community members.In this project we will organize on-line training,conferences,workshops,we will realize the blog project for project, online movie, online questionnaires for feedback of activities, online reports.
For our school this project  will be a bridge between all participants who will share their experience about ecology,sustainable development,culture,costumes and traditions and development communication skills in English.

NORTH MATRA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ASSOCIATION was founded in 2001, from those people who are interested in saving natural values of North Mátra Mountain, and motivated in environmental protection activities. We were opened for everybody, but our members are mainly teachers, students local municipality administrators. Our workers are volunteers. Already we organised actions, presentations, competitions in our discreet for selective waste collecting, for better living conditions, for green tourism, but we would like to have more  knowledge about European environmental protection systems In education: we organized courses for students of 2 secondary schools in our town. and were promoted some projects about education of caves heritages.
Our main activities:
• Analysis of environmental conditions
• Water quality assessment /BISEL , chemical analysis
•  Organizing actions, competitions for better living conditions
• waste collecting, planting of trees in our city
PROGRAMS :
• Motivate inhabitants for „environmental friendly „ technologies
•  stop environmental degradation
• Active participation in conferences /National forest strategy concept


Syddansk Erhvervsskole (English equivalent: SDE College) is the biggest VET provider in Denmark and is the setting for 5,300 students and 850 staffs. The college offers initial- and continuing vocational education for young people and for adults. The college offers 45 different professional programs clustered in ten areas (media, IT, service, health, construction, production, automation, food and catering, transport and automotive). Furthermore, the college has a senior high school offering academic courses for young people. In Denmark, very often sustainable development is perceived as  "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." (United Nations: 1987).  The college is mainly delivering technical programs, which in many aspects imply production of different goods, where sustainability is an issue. Normally relevant issues are integrated into the educational programs and go very often across the curriculum. An increasing number of initiatives concerning environmental sustainability in different trades are laid down by law by the Danish authorities e.g. in building and construction, waste treatment and for example on a European level by the EU Commission (EU Sustainable Development Strategy:2009).
In this project, SDE College can contribute to the development of innovative educational tools, which are effective when teaching sustainable development and moreover utilize practice gained in Denmark during the last decade. Further, the college can contribute to the testing of the developed tools  and to the dissemination of project outcomes.


Malatya Province Directorate of National Education has many responsibilities such as provision of education to the public in the region. Besides the main responsibility such as delivering education to the public, it has also the responsibility to create approaches to combat against any kind of problems that affect the personal development of its target group.
As our project aims to educate adults by activities and courses, it is one of the priorities of our organization to deal with.
In this scope, our organization is not only responsible for delivering education to its target group, which consists of about 120.000 students , but also for refreshing the pedagogical skills of its employees who are about 9.000 and meeting other kinds of needs of the people who are in the process of training. It is among the main concern of our institution to help those who will be mentioned in the project.
Besides, According to the regulations of National Education Ministry, the province directorate of National Educations has to deal with such issues. Raising awareness for being a responsible citizen is one of the priorities that our organization should take into consideration.
